For local news its very useful to stay current at work where youre not around a TV.

I LOVE MY i5s, JUST SORRY THAT THE 64Gig MODEL WAS OUT OF STOCK. SIRI ALSO COULD USE A BIT OF TWEAKING AS SHE NEVER GETS ANYTHING RIGHT WHILE ATTACHED TO MY BLUETOOTH IN MY 2015 BUICK LACROSSE! DEDICATED APPLE USER!

Keeps me up with the news even when I am out of town. Great format.

I love News Channel 8, but Im not sure anyone is using spell check or re-reading the articles. There are so many mistakes. Another downside is having an ad between every article.

My wife and I have always ch. 8s presentation and personalities and with the mobile app, we can have the latest news available 24/7. I also have Weather Max which has good radar and currents.

Love this app. Great for getting news on the run.

Adds are somewhat annoying, but I had gotten good at ignoring them at bottom of page. Today, there was an add for a movie, with "audio". It could not be turned off, and it replayed on every story page. I will be deleting this app.

I like the headliner notifications which let you know about school lockdowns etc - not too frequent but enough to keep me informed

First, stop with the 800 ask Gary full screen ad. Just know every time it pops I shut down the app and open CH10s app. Your ads load slow so when Im scrolling through the news things jump as your ads load into the list.

My family & I love to watch WFLA. We watch their morning when we get up & we watch it from 4-6pm. Its the channel we watch most of the day. Their Newscasters & reporters , weather & sports, too, are the best.

The ads will drive you crazy and not drive you to channel 8; although W FLA produces good weather on here, this is an amateur production and presentation of weather. Lastly, the application will blast you would breaking news which is configurable by the user, however if one wants to forward or copy the breaking news to a friend, it only copies the first sentence and not the entire link. I give the application one star and send it back to development!!!

I turn first to this app for local news and weather

We divide our time between Florida and North Carolina, so when we are away its a great way to keep up with the news.

The app notifies me immediately of any important local news if I dont want to wait for the 12 noon, six oclock or eleven pm news broadcasts! Weather updates and sports scores too! Great app to have!

I updated this app today, much to my regret. Its no longer the nimble, useful app it was. You have to search and scroll for weather and traffic, and the new Bing traffic map is cluttered and hard to read. Looking for a replacement bc this will be deleted asap. Wow. What a downgrade.
