Now ever time you click the back button or go to the home screen you get another pop up ad. Ridiculous. We get enough advertising thrown at us on a daily basis. Dont need anymore.

Too many ads now with the "update". And you have to scroll all the way back up to the top of an article to go back to the previous page, where youre greeted by ANOTHER ad. Very annoying. I will find another app for local Tampa news. Sorry

Love the new app! Pretty Title Screen!! But I cant stare at it forever, so I go to channel 10 & 13s apps. They actually have NEWS on their apps, not just a title screen! WOW!! Update: Finally got app to work!! Like other reviewers noted, its a cluttered piece of sht. Full Screen Ads popping up frequently. Ad videos automatically play with no way to stop them. Articles & Information chaotically arranged. I imagine a neurotic individual would design an app like this. Ill stick to channel 10 & 13.

Ive always liked this app for local news. However, the new version has too many pop up ads and it is too easy to accidentally click on the banners for other ads. I find myself using this less and less compared to other local news stations.

This used to be a very good local news app which I enjoyed. The latest version assaults you with unending popup advertisements that make the application incredibly annoying and cumbersome to navigate through.

Full page pop up ads render the app unusable. Content is old and poorly written.

I have been using the Newschannel 8 app for a while. The latest update makes it almost unusable with all of the pop up ads. Every time you read a story you are blasted with an ad.

Too many ads!! Crap keeps popping up after each article and in between articles!! Horrible news app!

What a lousy app from a great news station. The ads load, but the news doesnt. The news hasnt updated since the app updated. Going to the completion. Sorry, news channel 8. Fix it, and Ill come back.

The new app layout is terrible. Each time you pick a news story, it starts back at the top, making you re-scroll through all the news stories every time. Terrible layout. Who is the app designer, a middle schooler?

I love and watch WFLA news every day but this web site is just not up to par. I can never find anything they talk about on the air nor anything else I am searching for. Plus the home screen is so incredibly busy, it makes my eyes hurt. Sorry WFLA, Ill stick to your TV news and social media updates.
